Please respond with your pick for gayest song of all time. By "gayest" I don't mean anything perjorative, I mean songs that you think of when you think of the gay community.
My choice, since it's my list, is of course "Quiche Lorraine" by The B-52s.
Every time I read some news item about the Talibaptists wanting to ban gay marriage I think of the Impaled Nazarene song "Damnation (Raping the Angels,)" in which Mika Luttinen repeats, with a heavy Finnish accent, the broken English phrase "I was homosexual partner of Jesus Christ." I know, it's not really a gay anthem, but it springs to mind immediately.
More seriously, I now have "We Are Family" by Sister Sledge stuck in my head. So perhaps that counts as a more serious answer.
