Now I've made up my mind...

Zimmerman was lying; he doesn't have a mark on him. So much for "self-defense"

Date: 3/29/12 04:44 pm (UTC)I've never heard of that happening; it begs the question of why they would have done so, if indeed they did

Date: 3/29/12 04:48 pm (UTC)Although I am making no assumptions (and do not know SOP if there is one here), it is at least plausible that, given that familiarity and the understanding that Zimmerman WAS going to be taken in for questioning in any event, the cops might have said, "Sure, grab a change of shirt first."
I guess we'll learn soon. Also, the nose is either broken or it ain't. We'll learn that soon too.

Date: 3/29/12 06:38 pm (UTC)So either Z and his lawyer have gotten the police to lie in the report or this video means that the SFD did a reasonable job treating Z.
The clothing is, of course, another matter.

Date: 3/29/12 05:55 pm (UTC)The guy is supposed to have a broken nose and have had his head slammed into the concrete. Yet not a bruise. No blood.
This signals misconduct by the police to me.

Date: 3/29/12 06:44 pm (UTC)Like the linked article itself? "The video was authenticated by the city of Sanford public information office. Although it’s unclear what time it was taken, it was likely taken after Zimmerman was administered first aid at the shooting scene."
No blood? The police report (http://www.wesh.com/pdf/30793508/detail.html) states that Zimmerman's back was "wet and covered with grass" and that he was "also bleeding from the nose and back of his head."
That's too detailed to be a mere mistake. It's either true or it's a lie.
