Death. Death and more death. The dead pile upon one another until they squeeze out the living. Every death is justified by other deaths. Every act of killing is righteous. The greedy dead teach us nothing, but they clamour at us to join them . We learn nothing, we gain no wisdom, we right no wrongs. We simply multiply the dead. We live in a blind and toothless world of the dead, populated by ghosts and memories. When will we be able to have the strength to shake the dead from our backs? When will we able to have the courage to tell the dead to stay dead, to lie quiet in their graves? When can we start to say to them "No more for you today"? Until we can, we spin on our blind and toothless course, cursing fate, cursing God, cursing others to die for our ideas of justice. Justice is meaningless to the dead. They don't care about it. They only want us to join them, and we seem happy to oblige.
