An Important Announcement.

I just returned home. On my way home, I stopped for dinner. Saturday is a casual day at work, so I was dressed in jeans, a button-down shirt, and tennis shoes. I stopped for dinner at a local restaurant and was amazed by how incredibly OVER-DRESSED I was compared to the rest of the patrons.
Now this restaurant is NOT a fine dining establishment, but it's also not a Burger King. I would classify it as a middle-to-upper-middle end establishment. Casual, but not overly so.
However, MOST of the women there had somehow gotten the idea that wearing your sleepwear all day is somehow appropriate, bedroom slippers included. In this, they were superior to the men, who considered shorts and flip-flops (IN FEBRUARY, in the rain) to be acceptable attire.
As of right now, "casual" is cancelled until people learn not to abuse the privelege.
That is all.
