I've never watched the abovementioned show. I happened to watch it last night. The episode revolved around, among other things, someone black-mailing gay, closeted, high-school kids. The black-mailer was demanding $5,000.00 or they would out the kids.
Turned out that the black-mailer was one of the gay kids. Turned out it was OK, though, since the only person she actually took money from was a "self-hating rich boy". Veronica made her ruefully return the money, and everything was hunky-dory.
WTF??? It was OK because the victim was a) a rich kid, and b) he was closeted, and therefore "self-hating" and c) the victimizer was another gay kid. Forget that the black-mailer had committed a felony and two federal offenses, cause the victim somehow "deserved" it.
I've seldom seen such completely wrong-headed tripe on TV.
