I get to work early, WHY isn't important. When I arrive this morning at 7:20, there's someone standing at the back door.
"Can I help you?" I politely enquire.
"I'm here to make a delivery"
"Oh, there's no-one here to accept deliveries until 8:00" *pointing to the sign on the door that says exactly that*
"REALLY?" he says in that aggrieved and condescending tone people use in such situations.
"Yes, REALLY" I say to him and enter the building.

Point One : STOP SAYING "REALLY??" WHEN YOU'VE BEEN GIVEN INFORMATION THAT CONFIRMS SOMETHING YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN ALREADY.
1) Sign clearly stating delivery hours
2) Verbal confirmation of that sign from an employee
Point Two : DELIVERY PEOPLE NEED TO STOP THINKING THE WORLD REVOLVES AROUND THEM AND EVERYONE SHOULD *IMMEDIATELY* STOP WHAT THEY'RE DOING WHENEVER THEY DEIGN TO SHOW UP.
You're working, I'm working. What you're doing IS NOT more important than what I'm doing. If you have to wait 30 seconds for someone, SUCK IT UP AND WAIT 30 SECONDS
