This isn't about breastfeeding, it's about being the adult in the situation

In reference to Alanis Morisette's statement that she'll stop breastfeeding her child "whenever he wants", may I ask who should be making decisions for a child, the responsible parent or the child who would eat candy for breakfast every day if given the choice?
Sheesh people, PARENT ALREADY. Quit trying to be your child's "friend"; they'll have plenty of friends, but only two parents.
