Mar. 5th, 2007 07:16 amWe are all shocked! SHOCKED do you hear? at the miserable conditions in many of the US Army's Medical Facilities.
If ONLY our constitutents had written us for literally decades complaining of these conditions! If ONLY we'd known since the mid-Sixties that these facilities were badly run by time-serving bureaucrats who only care about their pension packages. If ONLY everyone who's ever had to deal with the facilities knew how horrific they were!
But how COULD we have known? We merely fund these facilities, we have bo responsibility to actually INSPECT them.
The fact that wounded servicemen and military retirees are shuffled around in an endless maze of frustrating sub-par service is news to us, really.
And, by God, we're going to do something about it!
We'll be getting right to that, we promise!
It's on our "to-do" list!
