Like A lot of people, I seem to be in the LJ doldrums. I don't know WHY this is true, but it is. Perhaps it simply mirrors a general malaise, a weltschmerz, a lassitude (which 6 years a go I would have called a fin-de-siecle ennui) I've been experiencing lately. Perhaps it's just a pre-triptophan reaction? Or do I just need to get laid? I dunno.

But, at least it's Friday, and I have BSG to look forward to.

Pax vobiscum, ya'll

BETHESDA, Md. - Like many boys with a vim for literature, Daniel Stashower was drawn to the macabre short stories of Edgar Allan Poe. But he was flummoxed by "The Mystery of Marie Roget," one of Poe's detective tales featuring intellectual amateur sleuth C. Auguste Dupin.
