Exciting times ahead, or not

I decided to (mostly) ditch cable TV for Netflix and Hulu plus. Let's see how this works.

that's what I meant by 'mostly". I'm keeping basic for local programming and news

ah, yes, i always forget that some places require cable even for local channels

i had to buy 827365872365982 digital converter boxes to maintain it but i've always gotten t.v. over the air... of course things do get in way of the signals, particularly now that they're so much weaker. i have cable currently but only b/c my landlord already has it & i only have to pay like $5/mo for the additional box; otherwise, forget it. so fucking expensive. even basic cable is @ least $25/mo around here, i think. i'm sure rates are similar in your neck of the woods. those bastards.
