Couple of problems with this;

While I'm generally anti "outing", apparently Kagan is already out to the extent that "her female partner is rather well known in Harvard circles."
Why is the White House, a DEMOCRATIC White House, treating this as a "charge" that needs to be retracted? If she's gay, she's gay. Haven't we gotten past that being a "scandal"? If she's not, where's the "not that there's anything wrong with that"?

AND WHAT THE FUCK DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH HER QUALIFICATIONS TO SIT ON THE SUPREME COURT?
