As if anyone cares

To state it for the record, I DO NOT have any intention to follow the "laws of the Russian Federation". To do so would be to condone their heinous treatment of LGBT people. I only agreed to the new TOS under duress. Sixteen years of writing, commentary and memories were being held hostage pending my "agreement". Once those have been migrated, I am done with LJ until such time as it re-enters the community of civilization.

I'm not sure what I am going to do. I have already quite Facebook etc. over protest. If I quit LJ over this, then I might as well quit social media altogether. Can you still see my posts over on Dreamwidth? Because you're one of the people I enjoy the most.

You seem to be saying that you will no longer automatically get your friends feed from here.:/ I will think about DW

I'm not sure how this is going to work out. I'd definitely hate to lose my friends list.

Yeah. I don't want to lose the people on my friend's list either. THat's the thing, right. We will see what happens, I guess. I just know that, as long as I am blogging, I'd like people like you around.

I'm a new LJ refugee myself. I was able to archive my LJ blogs without having to agree to the new TOS (by turning off JavaScript). Alas, there was no way to import the LJ blogs to DW without agreeing to the TOS, so I'm reposting everything one blog entry at a time ... sigh!
